Meet your Counselor!
My name is Laura Reed and I have the best job in the whole world! I'm so excited to be the Counselor at LTE.
I grew up in New Orleans and received my Master's in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas. I have 2 boys in college and recently adopted a kitten who stole my heart.

The recent culture in education has truly shown me how much love there is in our community. I adore the faculty, staff, parents, but especially the students at LTE. We are all working together to make LTE the best it can be.
​
Some of the things I do at school are guidance lessons with each classroom, individual counseling, small group counseling, community outreach, as well as collaborate with teachers and parents to help your child feel success at school academically, socially and emotionally. In addition, I am the campus Lighthouse Coordinator for Leader In Me.
